Benefits of wearing a bonnet and using Kraddlekare hair oil
My Newborn Baby’s Healthy Hair Journey
Healthy hair is a process, even for newborns. Every child is different so what is considered healthy or normal for one child may be different for another. This is because of different hair types, and the hair types are determined by genetics. Your little one may begin to develop their permanent hair as early as three months or as late as 18 months. Their hair texture may change until they are about two years old. Be patient and trust the process. Look at the transformation of my daughter’s hair in the video. You will notice the changes in her texture as well as the growth process. We also always use a satin bonnet by Kraddle Kare to aid in the process.

Who is it for?
Black people- Brown people- White people- Pink people, Any color of the rainbow people-
Some people think that hair protection is only for African American or black people. Or maybe you think that a bonnet is only for people with curly hair or thinning hair BUT that couldn’t be a more FALSE statement. Hair PROTECTION is for EVERYONE.
The Kraddle Kap satin bonnet is for EVERYONE! If you have a head, then our Kraddle Kap is for you. Our SPECIALTY is baby bonnets because of our unique size ranges however, we’ve found a way to accommodate everyone in any stage of life.
How do I pick the best size Kraddle Kap for my baby?
We always suggest you use our size chart to pick the BEST fit for your baby. The easiest way is for you to know your baby’s head circumference measurements, however, we’re always happy to help. Send us a message and we’ll gladly assist you!
Is it just a baby bonnet?
NO! It is NOT just a bonnet. You can simply, inexpensively purchase a bonnet for yourself or for you teenage daughter, but you have to be careful when using these on you babies because they’re NOT for babies.
Our Kraddle Kap was constructed specifically for babies. We’ve payed close attention to the baby’s needs when crafting our Kap and we have several BABY sizes to choose from.
What’s the difference between the Adult Kap and the BIG Mama Kap?
The adult Kap is our standard, one size fits most bonnet. This is the typical size bonnet for natural hair.
The BIG MAMA bonnet is extra big with added depth to protect long natural hair, hair extensions, box braids, and locs (and more).
How often should I get a new Kap?
Our bonnets does NOT have that bulky elastic strap in the band so we recommend that you replace your bonnet every 6-9 months.
Although our stretch band is durable, we do expect stretching to occur after 6 months on constant use.
Why do you sell adult bonnets?
Initially we started with baby bonnets, BUT we just had to incorporate adult bonnets. The baby is more likely to wear a his/her bonnet if they see mom is wearing the same bonnet. It is for the bonnet experience! It’s for the bonnet culture! #mommyandme
Where are the most common areas that baby’s developed bald spots?
The back and sides of the head are the most common areas you’ll see the bald spots. This also indicative of baby’s favorite sleeping position.
