Hi Kraddle Kare Family,

Kraddle Kare

Can you believe that Christmas is less than 1 week away?  And if you’re not already done with your Christmas shopping and holiday decorating then you’re LATE.  But don’t stress.

Together we will navigate through the stress of having a perfect Christmas celebration by sharing a few last-minute preparation tips.

Tip #1:  DELEGATION!

Yes, that’s right.  Get you some help. Don’t stress out by trying to do everything yourself.  Put someone in charge of dinner plans and get your kids to help with the holiday decorating… trust me, they’ll love it.

Tip #2:  Commit to your BUDGET!

I think parents put too much stress on providing a perfect Christmas for their kids which usually involves over spending.  Remember that you still have to be a responsible adult and pay your bills for December and January.

After you determine your budget for gifts, shop with CASH only.

Your kids will have a perfect Christmas because they are spending it with you.

Tip #3:  GATHER A SHOPPING LIST.

It’s very important to write down a grocery list for Christmas dinner as well as a list for all the people that you shop for.  Once you’ve written down your loved one’s names then write down 3 gift that you think they’d like as your shopping guide.

Tip #4:  PREPARING your gift giving is the absolute BEST.

Get your kids to make a Christmas wish list. Share this list with your family and friends so that they can buy a gift from the desired list.  Remember to cross out gifts that’s been purchased to prevent duplicate gifts.

Get the FUN gifts and toys beforehand so that the kids can have them on Christmas day.  Then buy all of the clothes and shoes during the after Christmas day sale. Did you know that the New Years day sale is even better than Black Friday shopping?

Prepare yourself for gift receiving.  Don’t get caught off guard by an awful Christmas gift.  Keep your game face on and say thank you then just regift the bad gift or trash it.  Simple as that.

You also have to prepare your kids for receiving gifts.  Throw out old toys that cannot be used anymore. Give decent toys and clothes to the good will or salvation army.  This is a good moment to teach your kids that giving is better than receiving. If your young kids have a hard time with parting ways with their current toys, just toss the out while they’re still in school.  They’ll never even know what’s missing.

BONUS Tip #:  Do not stress yourself out by taking things to seriously.  The holidays are happy times so ENJOY

With Love,

Kraddle Kare
